Error message: SIMULTANEOUS CHANGES TO PNR - USE WRA/RT TO PRINT OR IGNORE

Problem/Cause

You might receive this error message with an end of transaction entry in a PNR, for example, ET, ER, or ERK. This error protects the PNR from inconsistencies when it is updated by multiple sources.

Possible causes:

  • Two agents try to retrieve and modify the same PNR at the same time.
  • You try to modify a PNR while an Amadeus or airline automatic process is modifying the PNR.
  • The PNR is locked in the database.
  • The PNR is corrupted, and no updates are possible.

Customer Action

  1. Ignore and redisplay (IR) the PNR.
     
  2. Modify the PNR and try to save the changes with ER or ET.
     
  3. If the problem continues, contact Amadeus Customer Services or log a case with the following information:
    • A clear description of the problem
    • The PNR record locator
    • Office ID and agent sign
    • If you are in graphic mode, the session ID
    • The entry, expected response and received response
    • The timestamp of your entry
      Enter $$DUMP from the command page immediately after your entry and copy the output.
