You can store fare discount information in your PNR by adding a fare discount (FD) element. The FD element can contain fare discount information for all or specific passengers or flight segments.

• When an FD element is present, the PNR is priced, using the discount code or passenger type code (PTC) provided. You do not need to include the fare discount information in the pricing entry or name field.

• You can store up to 3 discount or PTC codes per passenger and/or segments in a single FD element or in multiple FD elements.
