XX ETKT: PASSENGER SECURITY IDENTIFICATION MISSING/INCOMPLETE

Problem/Cause

Note: XX is the two-letter code of the airline that issued this error message. 

You may receive this error message when attempting to issue a ticket.

Possible cause:

  • Ticketing is rejected when the PNR does not contain any Secure Flight Data or it is in the wrong format
     
  • The SSR DOCS element in the PNR does not match the passenger name displayed in the name field. If there is a CHD/INF, the name entered in the SSR DOCS line and the name field do not match
     
  • APIS was already in the PNR but error is still returned, one (or more) of the flight(s) is tagged as a SECURED FLIGHT

Customer Action

1. You must enter Secure Flight Data in the PNR.

  • Enter the passenger’s full name as it appears on a person's valid government-issued photo identification that will use when traveling- this includes children and infants.
  • If the government-issued ID includes a middle name or initial, it must be included in the PNR and match the SSRDOCS.

Example: SRDOCS 6X HK1-P-GBR-012345678-GBR-30JUN73-M-14APR19-PAXXXXX-SIMON-JEAN PAUL-H/P1/S3

remove the long entry SRDOCS 6X HK1-P-GBR-012345678-GBR-30JUN73-M-14APR19-PAXXXXX-SIMON-JEAN PAUL-H/P1/S3
and replace by the
SFPD entry
SRDOCS BA HK1-----30JUN73-M--SMITH-DAVE/P1.

  • If passport information is not available, the short entry should be used
  • If passport information is available, the long entry should be used.

Note: for a passenger with hyphenated names, replace any hyphens (-) with a space.

SFPD consists of the following information:

  • Passenger’s Name (as per passport)
  • Passenger’s birth date
  • Gender
  • Redress Number (if available). This is a unique number that DHS currently assigns to individuals who use the DHS Traveler Redress Inquiry Program (TRIP).
    Under the Secure Flight program, individuals will use the Redress Number in future correspondence with DHS and when making future travel reservations.

2. Workaround
: Update or add the TSA in the American Airlines web site will solve the issue.

3. Workaround: First issue the tkt per pax to see which one is causing the problem, when you know that , remove the corresponding SSRDOCS and reenter it and try again if it is still happening try to update the information in the airline website when available and if still getting the same respond call the airline to request update the SSRDOCS in their end.
Perform a flight information entry (DO) on the flight(s), if a flight flight is tagged as SECURED FLIGHT, add the secured flight passenger data (SFPD).

For example: SRDOCS BA HK1-----30JUN73-M--SMITH-DAVE/P1.

  • For information, refer to the Amadeus Help pages HE SECURE FLIGHT > MS85  (Under Ticketing Inhibition)

Please note that: 

  • If passport information is not available, the short entry should be used
  • If passport information is available, the long entry should be used.

WARNING: In case passport details are not available, the agent should never create the SR DOCS element with default passport number 012345678

4. Check that you have submitted data in the above format and if unsuccessful contact the carrier concerned directly for their preferred format.

Workaround: Before calling the airline, try first to delete the SSRDOCS information, then RF, ER. When the input is back, do RF, ER (again) and try the entry again.

4.1. You can also check their GGAIRxx (xx= airline code) Amadeus Information pages or their website, e.g. WWW.6X.COM/AGENCY

5. Verify that all the names in the PNR match the names in the SSRDOCS element(s).

Enter the passenger’s full name as it appears on a person's valid government-issued photo identification that will use when traveling- this includes children and infants.

If the government-issued ID includes a middle name or initial, it must be included in the PNR and match the SSRDOCS.

5.1. Children names treat the same as adults.

5.2. If this is for an infant, there is no FOID for infants in Amadeus. To include the infant's personal information, use the following long entries:

  • Male infant (MI): SRDOCS 6X HK1-P-GBR-012345678-GBR-01JUN13-MI-14APR13-PAXXXXX-SIMON-JEAN PAUL-H/P1
  • Female infant (FI): SRDOCS 6X HK1-P-GBR-012345678-GBR-01JUN13-FI-14APR13-PAXXXXX- MARY-JEAN-H/P1

Please note that: 

  • If passport information is not available, the short entry should be used
  • If passport information is available, the long entry should be used.

6. If the problem persists, display the airline's Amadeus Information pages GGPCAxx (xx=airline).

6.1. If the ALTEA RESERVATION field is blank, most likely the airline has their own e-ticket server: contact the airline to find out why they are rejecting the e-ticket.

6. If the problem persists and/or if the ALTEA RESERVATION field says YES, the airline uses the Amadeus E-Tcket Server (ETS): contact your Amadeus Help Desk (or Representative).

Provide the following information to help investigation and speed up the handling time:

  • Timestamp of your entry. For this, enter $$DUMP from the Command panel right after your entry, then copy the output.
  • Exact error message received
  • Scenario to reproduce the error
