CREDIT CARD NOT ACCEPTED BY SYSTEM PROVIDER/TICKETING CARRIER

Problem/Cause

You may receive this error message after:

  • A DE entry (Credit Card check)
  • A reissue, using CC as form of payment.
  • Issuing a ticket with a easy pay card

Possible cause:

  • At FP time, the system only checks whether the format is correct. The actual verification is performed at TTP time and if a credit card is not accepted by an airline, the system returns this error message.
  • The validating carrier does not accept Easy Pay

Customer Action

1. Verify the Credit card number, and if the validating carrier accepts it.

  • Refer to the Amadeus Information pages GGAIRxx (where xx is the Airline code) to see if the airline has any restrictions on the credit card.

2. If related to Easy Pay, choose another method of payment.

3. If the problem persists, and you are sure the request is valid and should return a result, contact your Amadeus Help Desk (or Representative).

Provide the following information to help investigation and speed up the handling time:

  • Timestamp of your entry. For this, enter $$DUMP from the Command panel right after your entry, then copy the output.
  • Exact error message received
  • Scenario to reproduce the error
