Transitional Stored Ticket (TST) Overview

Procedure

A stored fare, also known as a Transitional Stored Ticket (TST), is a record of all fare information for a PNR. The system uses this information to issue a ticket. The TST is created after you make an entry to price and store the fare, or when you issue a ticket or invoice.

You can have a maximum of 10 TSTs per passenger. When creating multiple TSTs using segment select, the segments cannot overlap. You can have multiple passengers associated to one TST provided the itinerary, Fare elements, and form of payment are the same.

Note: When the form of payment is an American Express credit card, the system creates multiple TSTs even though the information is the same for all passengers.

There are two types of TSTs:

  • Automatic Stored Ticket (AST)
  •
  • Manual Stored Ticket (MST)

An AST is automatically created by the System as a result of a pricing or ticketing entry.

An MST is a stored fare where the information has been entered manually, or an AST that has been updated manually.
