Introducing the new generation of Amadeus services and now available to all agencies, Amanda our virtual agent and specialist.
|1.- Who is Amanda?|
Amanda is a virtual agent designed to provide support to all travel agencies throughout the world, addressing all types of functional concerns and questions.
|Where can I find her?|
Amanda is located and available 24/7 all year round, in Amadeus Selling Platform Connect.
Amanda becomes available to you automatically upon logging into the system and can be found on the lower right hand side.
|What do I need to take into account when interacting with Amanda?|
To facilitate an effective interaction with Amanda, we recommend you to follow these guidelines.
|How do I begin an interaction with Amanda?|
To start interacting with Amanda, you need to click on the box labeled Amanda as seen in the graphic below.
A pop-up window will appear, and you will find yourself ready to interact with Amanda. Let’s take a look and see how Amanda responds to the following question:
How do I search for availability?
Amanda automatically detects the keyword, searches for related topics and provides different options associated with your query.
|What type of answers should I expect from Amanda?|
Amanda may specifically address your question or provide suggestions such as:
|Can Amanda help me with my reservation?|
In case where you need assistance with your reservation, keep in mind that Amanda cannot display or action your PNR. However, you may ask her promptly questions about your reservation or transactions associated to it.
I received an error response while working on Amadeus Selling Platform Connect. Can Amanda help me with that?
|If you happen to get an error message while working in the system, you may copy and paste the error response into the interaction window where Amanda will try to bring up documentation associated to the error message.|
|I already interacted with Amanda but I was not pleased with the response|
In case that you are not satisfied with Amanda’s reply, you may choose to score her response negatively so that she can process the feedback, look into possible areas of opportunities and become more efficient. In the same way, Amanda would also like to know when her replies are right on target to ensure she is accurately answering your questions.
